Tulsa Metropolitan Service Area Teachers and Educators
The Tucky Roger
Fellowship provides financial assistance through the Tulsa Global Alliance for
teachers and educators throughout the Tulsa Metropolitan Service Area to support
efforts of their own design to promote global awareness, education, and understanding
by visiting Tulsa's Sister Cities and by serving as a resource for TGA, educational
institutions, and students.

Applicants must have a minimum of
three years classroom teaching experience (public, private, or parochial), spend
at least 50 percent of their time working with students, and be employed as a
pre-K through twelfth grade educator in Northeastern Oklahoma at the time the
grants are approved and made. -
A
Team must consist of two or more eligible educators. -
Educators
may only be awarded the Tucky Roger Fellowship grant once every five years. -
Applicant must have the intention of
returning to their institution in their district the school year after the award
is made.
The number of awards
will be limited by the merit of the applications and by the funds available. There
is no minimum or maximum award number per year. Educators may request funding
for activities up to $2,000 per individual or $3,000 per team. How to apply -

The Tulsa Global
Alliance will convene a Selection Committee of educators as well as TGA officers
and corporate or civic leaders. -
Merit of the application, as determined
by the Selection Committee, will be the sole criterion. -
The Selection Committee scoring is confidential
and individual feedback will not be provided.
Obligations
And Revisions Grant
recipients are required to provide the Tulsa Global Alliance with a reflective
report describing their experience, along with a detailed expense report, and
an outline of how their learning will be used in the classroom. Specifically,
award recipients will be expected to participate actively in one of the Sister
City Partnerships, and upon completion of the travel experience, provide at least
one presentation/lecture about the experience coordinated through TGA. In addition,
the award recipient will assist with curriculum development for Kids' World related
to the specific Sister City visited.The Tulsa Global Alliance reserves the right
to review the conditions and procedures of this program and to make changes at
anytime, including termination of the program. Grant recipients should understand
that other obligations accompany the grant, including:

post-fellowship meetings, -
and a two-page documentation of the impact
on teaching practices submitted within one year following the completion of the
